Looking to get rid of those god-awful chrome/clear 02 03 tails. They're gonna be a guinea pig for an experiment I wanna try soon as I replace them...anybody wanting to get rid of their 00-01 tails lemme know. I'm willing to pay about $80 shipped.

Just an FYI you can buy them brand new on ebay for 100shipped...
the extra 20 bucks gets you brand new lights not 6 yr old scratched up lights...

Figured I'd try to save the 20 bucks and put some money into the pockets of a fellow orger. Also, I didnt really think that tail lights would be prone to that many scratches. Thanks though!

My friend Aaron, ToastedOats on the org, just sold his stock 02 tails for 90 shipped. If you can do the same the new tails will be 10 bucks for you . can't beat that.

I have a feeling i'm going to do the same and then paint my black clears body color. Which i'll end up using finally.

Well, I ordered those lights off ebay. Soon as they come in and get on my car I'm taking apart my stock tails and gonna try to paint the housing...if it turns out well I'll either keep them or sell them to someone who's interested...I'll keep you guys posted-

I assume you plan to paint them body color?

 

Yep, just gonna spray all the gray areas to black...leaving the chrome rim around the red/orange lights. If I can successfully accomplish this I'll make a write up, but dont expect too much outta me haha.

 

are you painting the lens or the housing?
