I am gonna start to work on making the stock grill look better with mesh in it. I am gonna try many different methods without cutting it to see if there will be a way to do this without screwing it up. I will keep everyone informed, this will take time.

I'm keeping my eyes open for ideas as well. This thread would be good to brainstorm. I hear maxim (i think that is his name) has a modified 5th gen main grill. Like to know exactly what he used/cost/where to buy etc.... This is going to be hard since our grills have the big logo on them and just some much plastic. Beneath the grill would be ok but something over the plastic crap would be cool. I will measure it out tomorrow. If you measure out the viewable area and post it first that would be cool too?

 

I have been thinking about making a Mercedes S Class type grill for awhile. I have the resources to make one out of aluminium and then chrome it but im just realllllly lazy... It would take awhile for R&D too.. Who would be interested in one if i do make them??
