My auto climate controlled A/C has gotten confused three times in the last three days. The A/C will all of a sudden shut off. Checking the AMB button and it shows 16F even though it is 90+. The unit thinks it is below freezing and shuts down.

It happened the first time and I had my laptop in the trunk, loaded with the ESM. I went to the A/C section and it described how to get the unit into diagnostic mode. All this junk shows up on that little display. I went through each step as described. The objective is the tests will tell you what is wrong with the unit. Well, it says everything is ok and at the end of the "test" the unit works like normal. Somehow this procedure resets the unit.

On the next two occasions I didn't need the ESM. Same thing: it worked perfect afterwards.

Anybody experienced this?
