Laid Down The Cleaning of a Lifetime on the Max Today...

Here's a few quick pics I took after a wash, claybar, polish, wax I did today. I think this is probably the most clean it's ever been. I'll probably update later tonight with some shots when the lighting is different and usually makes the car look nicer.

Hey man...I was at the Outlets Friday night, but not last night and I do think it was around that time...just curious because I have so many people tell me they see me driving around and most of the time it's places I haven't been. I think there is a very similar looking car around our area but I've never seen it in person or on the .org...I actually believe it because half the time it's friends who really know my car, but who knows...thanks for the comments.

Very nice, I've got the same color max with the clears as you but mine is a 2002. Its nice to see how it looks with rims and it being lowered. I need to lower mine soon.

Yeah you're right actually it was Friday night....hahaha I pass the outlets every night coming home from work and mixed up the days. I was sitting at the light and tried to book it to catch up but you had already gotten on the highway. But yeah Ill be seeing you around again im sure, im only at rodman 6 days a week...

EDIT: I think I know who you are talking about....a buddy of mine...acutally a member on here's brother had an 01 sterling mist with a trenz grill, dropped, debadged, clear bumpers, and a few other cosmetic mods. I am not sure if thats what you are talking about because it is similar to your car...however he wrapped it around a tree going 80 on a sidestreet in Norfolk...

Good luck with your future mods...the lowering obviously makes a big difference in the look, but it's amazing how much the Stillen lip kit changes the appearance of our cars...aggressive yet classy at the same time.

I have 35% tint all around...it was the legal limit in MA in 2004 when I put it on...this year it changed to 50%, which is basically nothing. In case you're investigating for your car, you'll be just fine with cops and 35% I think...just tell them you got it last year if they ever say anything, but I'd bet my money you'll be fine...3 of my buddies got 20% tint last year and all 3 of them got at least 2 tickets before they decided to take it off.

Thanks. Yeah, i feel that 35% is the way to go. I don't want to spend 200$ and then have to take it off.

Hey Kruppa,
sweet looking max. i have 03 Sterling mist. Love the rims and drop with the front and rear lip. Looks classy. How low of a drop you got. While your on the subject live in Mass and have 20% and havent had a problem yet. Got the tints prob 1.5 years ago. Definately changes the look.

Also agree with Konak. Ron Paul all the way

I have Tein H-Techs (1.6") in the front and H&R (1.3") in the rear for a drop...it offers a decent ride and good handling.

I think it all depends on where you live with the tint problems. Some places have cops that care and some don't, it's just luck. But yes I agree, the darker the better to an extent. I don't mind my 35% though and it's safe no matter where I drive.
