Cattman vs Greddy SP2

WIth the money I've made so far this summer, I wanted to get a cat-back. I've done my research, but still cannot decide which one to get. Could I get some of your guys' opinions. Thanks

Cattman for sure. Superior fitment quality and I think it sounds better than the greddy. Both are awesome but if performance is your main goal you'll be more satisfied with the Cattman. However if you can I would also save up for a cattman y-pipe you're gains will be much higher with a y-pipe.

I was considering both the SP2 and Cattman when I was looking to replace my catback. I went with the Cattman and couldn't be happier.

If u can afford it, cattman. Sound and fitment is perfect. There are other brands that will do the job and cost a lot less but you MIGHT sacrifice a little fitment, sound, and looks. For happiness i recommend cattman. For price, go another route.

Cattman for sure, I have a GReddy SP2 and I love it, but Cattman is indeed better, I simply didn't have enough money. The money I would have spent on a Cattman cat-back I spent on a y-pipe to go with my SP2

I have the cattman as well and the sound is perfect with a budget Y. My only complaint is that the exhaust tip sticks out about 2 inches from the end of the bumper on my 96. So, with your 96 that would be something to consider.

Cattman is made just for maximas, so i would say Cattman, but like the other basically said... if you wanna save a bunch of money... whats the difference.. like 300 400 dollars.. go with the greddy and get a Y-pipe... if you want good gains look into intake and headers... a good port and polish will work wonders too.. with some spacers... oh man

Thanks for all the replies/votes, but i still have some questions.....

For SP2 owners, from the clips I've seen, it seems to be extremely quiet, a bit louder than stock...is it true?

I have the sp2 paired with the cattman y-pipe. idle sound is slightly above stock, it's a really nice sound down low and screams "V6!" at the top. If I ever have to replace my cat-back I'd go with the cattman just because I hear good things about it and it's a change I guess. Go to ceasars site and listen to his exhaust clips, they sound amazing! but he does have a full cattman exhaust including the headers. those sound nice btw

I just realized your 16. I say go for the greddy...why would you want to spend so much money on JUST THE EXHAUST of your car? You'll find something else to spend it on later, trust me...saving is a good idea.
I have the sp2 but ive got the 3.5 motor and no-name headers so it sounds MUCH better than it would on a 3.0. The fitment is nothing to brag about..

i got my sp2 through a group deal for like 400 somethin shipped. The cattman catbacks look like they come out to be about 200 dollars more. Thats not as bad as I thought it was but just try to think things through.

i had the sp1 it had it had a very annoying drone. after about 8 years with it the b section developed a hole and i just swapped out my whole exhaust to the cattman. i love it no drone and sounds much better than my old sp1 (dont know what sp2 sounds like). i also have the cattman headers which makes a great combo and nice sound, also very noticeable gains. i have a budget ypipe for sale if you interseted. im a cali spec and i'll let it go for say $80 bucks shipped to you. pm me if you are interested.

If you go through the exhaust clip stickies you can hear all the different set ups. I think if you ever have a doubt about Cattman you need to listen to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmiPQ-Iwy1Y and make up your mind after.

Gains are gains... regardless of what car it is... more air flow... more power. Im saying if you have an exhaust only your not gunna see crazy gains.... but if u have the i/h/e... your seeing way more than you would with just one or 2 of them... that is all... plus 4th gens are kool

That was kind of confusing. In my book, exhaust includes headers. Your not gonna see crazy gains with any of this. That's what it sounded like you were saying at first. And yeah I guess an intake and catback might grab you an extra 8 horsepower...so does a cold breeze. I just don't think its worth spending 1000 bucks on a full exhaust and intake for the gains you get...just my opinion...some people want it all and want to get the best ****. Just doesn't seem practical.
I agree, 4th gens are cool

well very true... this is why i wouldnt get a cattman cat back or headers becuz of the price... cattman headers alone i think are like 800...
im with you on your opinion... thats why my car is stock... i keep it clean tho so it's all good... i miss my 4th gen tho.. mainly becuz i got it in manual and my car now in auto... memories... sniff sniff...
oh yeah and my last last statement bout the gains was sarcasm...
i forgot to mention that

I am just curious... What makes Cattman so much better? I mean I heard such great things about Brain and he is a good dealer and all but is the price really worth that much more for his exhaust vs. Greddys? I almost bought a cattman catback but I could not pick it up in time so he sold it on me, I had it at a really good price too...

$250 bucks (used for just muffler and b-pipe). I was bummed out that I could not pick it up in time because he lived like 50miles from me but when I saw the price on the site for like $600 bucks my heart sank on such a good deal I missed on.

Also Does he make these exhaust himself or does he just get another company and puts his name on it? And what kind of warranty does he offer on his products?

Thanks
