Well i have 20% tint on my max and i'm having trouble getting a sticker this year, last year on my 01 max no issue is anyone on the org from the worcester ma area that can dirct me to the right inspection station i mean is plenty of cars with darker windows and they have a stick ma sucks

I live in mass and my windows meter at negative 3 percent tint all around! but iam exempt form the tint law all together SORRY bro!

 

It's always a bad idea to post on a car forum the name and location of an inspection station that will violate MA laws on window tint.

You guys should check out the NE forum for local meets around MA. It would be great to have more Maximas like 6th gen join us.

 

Here in NYC You can get ticketed for dark tint. Over 35% I think. Sometimes they give You 1ticket, sometimes 1 per window

it depends on who ya know and who will just put the Max on the dyno and pass everything else. i have a few friends in the worcester/westboro/auburn dealerships and they're always willing to help. On another note anyone have an 04 SE with the 5spd auto that shifts funny like too quick up or down from 3rd to 2nd ? My friend whos a service mgr says it might just be a clogged filter or dirty fluid ?? anyone else with this problem ??

 

My friend got it. The cop was probably pissed. The thing is - If You get 1 for all 7 windows - it's easier to pay than take tint off and dispute, BUT if You get 7 .....

 

yes...mine seems to shift too soon also...next oil change I was planning on having them change tranny fluid to see if it goes away...shifts just fine in "manual" mode

damn didnt know we had this many 6th genners around here, when i first got the max i couldnt find a sole on here lol. thinking bout asking my sister for a doctors note, get me a sticker allowing any tint i want BWHAHAAHAHAHAHA

 

Sorry mavs , its just not that easy! getting a note from a doctor, specilaist etc.... dosn't do ANYTHING! It's all done thru the mass registry of motor vehicles (medical affiars dept.) and they are brutal on giving out Tinted glass wavier decals! TRUST me I know!
