what if it is? some people might not like what you do to your car, but it isnt what they like that matters, its what you like so don't judge!

They wont work on our cars. The way they work is they have a T post that has to line up into a cutout on the actual pins. With the downward slope of our cars it puts the T post at an angle not allowing the T post to fit into the cut out on the pins.
Ive tried them, as well as some others.

They worked alright on maximariceboi's max, I was actually looking at it last night.

Without them though I'd be afraid of the hood flying off

I'll ask Eric to take some pics of his setup, personally i think I'm going to go with some Aerocatch pin latches, after looking at the dots, and how there's that fake CF sticker thing you put around it, I just don't like it. Plus I don't like the lock, having to add another key.

Anyone have the latches and can attest to them?

Or any other better alternatives?

My friend has the Aerocatch latches on his 3000gt and they work great. They definitely are secure and look pretty good. The only thing is you have to cut a pretty big hole in your hood.

I think I'm definitely waiting a bit, I like the hood latch look better than the pin look, but we'll see. I think I'll probably go with the latches
