Any 5th gen owners have a high tendancy of interior windshield fog?

I clean my car once every 2 weeks or so.
Ive notice the inside of the windshield becoming filthy with a fogness type of film in the matter of 3-5 days.
I dont smoke in the car but the film ressembles as if i did?
Im dumbfounded that it comes around so quick, and its quite annoying.

It may be the liquids and paper that you use to clean it. After you clean it, it may look fine, but after a couple of days when you have the AC on and off and/or the windows open and have the temperature mixing in the car, then that is where the smoginess comes from. So just pick AC or windows for a week and do a thorough job on cleaning the window and see if that helps.

You need to replace your in-cabin micro filter.

My old Jimmy used to have that happen in the winter months. If you could keep the front window from fogging up it wouldn't happen but once it fogged up...

I found using Sprayway Glass Cleaner (you can get it at Costco) and a Microfiber worked the best.

Stoners Invisible glass works really well too. A new filter and a good ole cleaning with Stoners or Gone's recommended Sprayway and I think you'll be in good shape. If all else fails, Rain X Anti fog might be worth a shot. I've never used it but........

I've heard good things about Stoners Invisible Glass too but have never really bothered trying it.

Rain X Anti-Fog... I have a bottle, i tried it once and swear it left a haze on the window that took more work than it was worth (to me) to get out. I've found that just keeping the window clean is the best way to keep it from fogging up. I also noticed once they do fog up, it makes it easier for them to fog in the future

It kind of sucks when you park outside in the winter

yup stoners works wonders. i also keep a microfiber cloth in the glove compartment to wipe down the windshield from time to time. it helps get rid of that haze that builds up (which from my experience is more noticable at night time)
