Got up this morning to head to work and stopped by the local dealership where I commenced in telling the parts person and the surrounding cast of losers to go fck themselves (Yes, I did) because they didn't want to help me verify an 02 sensor I'm going to install.

I got the code p0136 that the guys at Advanced Auto told me it was the upstream 02 sensor and not the one near the cat. So I bought it and see it has 4 wires and a 4 pin connector.

I need for you all to verify for me it the 97 Cali Spec has a 4 pin connector and 4 wires on the original. The new Bosch I bought says it's an OEM replacement. Need to verify also that the total length of the cord is about a foot long.

PM your vin and I will look up the part number on FAST. 95-96 have the 3pin sensor and 97+ have the 4pin sensor, but IIRC you never got the rear o2 code with your 96/95 ecu so you might have a very early 97 and it might have a different sensor.

Well I've searched quite a bit and am no closer to finding THE ACTUAL part I need. THe number listed here is not recognised by one of the two websites listed here. I even added the dash. I need a rear heated o2 sensor for my 97, the later version with the sensor after the cat. Can anyone help with a part number, I just don't trust autozone etc to get me the right part

 

If you have an O2 sensor after the catalytic converter, you have a Fed spec car. That O2 sensor is part number 226A0-0L703.
