custom enterprise dual exhaust (anyone own?)

i bought the cat back dual exhaust setup from custom enterprise about 1.5 years ago and was told it was a mild deep sound i would get from it. (i have a budget y-pipe , test pipe, stock headers) the resonator is is marked loud/quiet that can be flipped one direction for quiet and one for loud but both are horribly loud, i cant even notic a diff. when flipped. i tried to resolve this with ce but there customer service is a joke and now ce no longer exists. i want to keep the dual setup but i want to get a nice mellow/deep sound from it. any bright ideas would be appreciated.

also, any ideas on getting rid of that god awful bees in a can sound coming from the y-pipe. im kinda on a tight budget seeing how i just had twin boys.

yeah i was thinking about going that route, was hoping more for a suggestion of a good resonator to go with that would give me my desired results. the one it came with is a louvered style which i believe are suppose to be a little quieter than the perforated but also create more backpressure. would be nice to find a perforated res that would do it for me

Get a universal cat that's not a test pipe. Also get a big quiter resonator. You could go with a couple of small ones if you can't find one big enough. Maximas N/A don't really loose or gain much from putting straight through resonator.

Contact Brian Catts... aka cattman check in the group buys section. He has a longer than stock resonator and I think it's around 100 bux. Good luck.
Hope that helps you out.

slipped my mind, i actually removed the test pipe after i got the catback due to the sound, i replaced it with a high flow cat, helped a little but not anywhere as much as i need. i appreciate the assistance, all good ideas. i could shoot CE for shafting me with this overpriced SS bolt on ka ka . oh sorry, thats right, i paid extra for the SS version, its labeled as the SS version verses the aluminized, yet im seeing rust spots and not just on the welds. me: just another happy customer

Stock cat ftw. My sp1 sounded like shiz when I put the test pipe, also all it did was smell horrible. Put a stock cat converter back on, youll be alright/get a new resonator
