Right way to use fuel system cleaner plz??

Hello guys! My gas tank is down to 1/4 left and I want to try the Chevron cleaner. The bottle said put it in a nearly empty tank and then fill it up. Is 1/4tank left good enough? After I filled tank to full, do I need to use up that tank straight? Or is it okay if I put gas in again on half tank? Thanks!

yeah you want to either finish whats left in the tank(put to E) then fill up and throw in the cleaner.......its funny how different cleaners say different crap.

Just put it in now, you will be fine. The only reason they tell you to wait until the tank is empty is so that the cleaner gets good and mixed with your fuel. Filling at a 1/4 tank is just fine. Just make sure you run it to E once the cleaner is in before filling up again.
