New 2 tone leather kit installed.

Just installed a new 2 tone leather kit in the max.

I'm thinking of doing the door panels in a suede gray like the seat inserts but not sure. Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

I paid $500. Got it off of ebay. Someone couldn't use it anymore because they sold their car before they installed it. I found a good deal because the kit is normally $699 and up depending on the options.

I helped my friend install it. It's pretty easy. Well for him because he knows what he is doing.

Yeah, it would look hot. I got the inserts in suede. I really didn't like the lighter color in leather against the black.

I think all charcoal and just red stitching would be subtle and sharp too.

Hog rings, hog ring pliers, adhesive spray, and extra cushion if needed. I'm not sure if my boy used any other tools as he did most of the work.

I'm still trying to decide on the gray suede door panels to match the seat inserts. No one has touched on that yet. I posted a poll. Let me know what you guys think.

Your maxie and looks great but is it going to stay clean?

As to suede door panels and roof it would look awesome.

I want to change bot at some point but I would keep it all black.

Thanks, I'm gonna keep it as clean as possible. I'm already looking into cleaning products to keep them up to par.

If they get too dirty, then I would have an excuse to do it over again in a different style, color..etc in a couple of years and give the interior a new look/feel again....LOL!

Thanks,

I'm leaning towards leaving the door panels as is.

Total cost with Kit and install was $950.00

Damn, that's a big pic...That looks very sharp with your set up.

I have the same ones that came with the Katzkin kit in black. Only, I don't want to really go with leather on the doors. I like the look and feel of the suede right now. Just trying to match it to the seat inserts a bit more but it looks like most people agree to leave it as is.

That two tone with the black and grey is sick. Leave the door panels black though...
