Why does the title state 2002, but the post content states 2000-2001?

its from an 02, i noted 2000-2001 cause the 5.5gen tcm will work with a 5th gen and can remedy the shift problems that they get. (obviously not all the problems, but the tcm related problems)

 

Even though it(02/03) has CAN lines?

 

i dont know, this is just what i was told, and was contacted by a 5th gen member about it previously.

EDIT: looking at courtesy nissan diagrams, 2000-2003 have the same TCM part number so

Spoke with a tech, it will only work with a 02 or 03, 00 and 01 are only 4 speed autos

 

all 5th gens are 4spd auto's, that tech doesnt know what hes talking about. if youre interested in this and wish to buy it, i can give you a 100% guarantee that if it does not work with the car i will completely reimburse you and pay for return shipping.
