long story short, my max didnt pass safety at a local shop that i will no longer go to because they are trying to scam every last penny out of me. They said my rear calipers were shot and it would be a minimum of $1000 to fix. It turns out my E-brake just wasnt tightened. Works now...
Anyway, I did my front axles this weekend because they needed to be done eventually. It wasnt as painful as I thought, I just needed a 35mm socket and some elbow grease. Also my friend that worked at a nissan dealer was a big help. I just need to get it back so it can get inspected and I can drive it around again. W00t!

if i were you, i would sue that local shop. seems like there trying to steal money from people whom they think know nothing about cars. $1000 min to fix rear calipers
I just love working on it. The car has been so nice to me. I sometimes talk to him when Im driving...
The new nuts were 35mm. the old were 36. But yea the point of the thread was just kinda yay my first real job on my maxima. It was a bonding experience.

My Max only makes me mad when the stupid check engine light comes on randomly because of the knock and oxygen sensors.
