Pics of New Car: e36 M3 (56k No)

Hey guys, just got an m3 last weekend after selling both my Maximas. It was a sad day seeing my pebble beige go, i definitely had a lot into that car.

Here are some pics. Mods so far on the car were the awesome BBS wheels and little drop.

Right Now i have Clear Corners on the way. Along with ZKW fogs because i hit a raccoon last night a busted out my passenger side one. What is my deal with Coons?!?! I also want to do red/clears. I love the bbs wheels i just wish they were 18's.

I've got a lot in store for the m3, just gotta pace myself cause i'll be on a college budget heh..

I'll surely miss the max and not being as involved in the maxima community, but i'll still be around...

How many miles? I keep looking for E36 M3s with less than 50,000 miles, almost impossible. Awesome interior BTW.

around 120,000. The previous owner used it to commute hwy back and forth for business so its better they're all hwy miles.

The power in this thing on the hwy is honestly scary...

Nice car man. I bet the difference in acceleration and handling is huge compared to the max.

Sticking with stock power plant for right now, maybe intake soon. Later on down the road its going to be m50 manifold w/raise rev limit, similar to the MEVI setup for the max. And who knows, i can't imagine what this car feels supercharged

are you sure you want to modify the engine much on the car? with that many miles i'd be pretty worried, especially on a car that doesn't take all that well to mods.

I'm just dreamin about boost, but manifold and flash isn't too serious on the car. The engine has buttloads of service on it (like any bmw), so i'm pretty confident its a strong runner. But right now i just like it stock w/a few exterior touches. Its hard not to think about digging into the engine like i could with the max though..

It's 98... so it should have 3.2L I-6... 240hp/235tq if I'm not mistaken.

Not fast as compared to newer cars, particularly 335i's. But man.... do I miss the feel when it's eating the curves (it had H&R coilovers, though).

Congrats on the new car.... she absolutely looks like she has only half a mile.

Now.... instead of spending $$$ on cosmetics, better tune up the suspension...

Nice upgrade! My buddy and I recently installed nitrous on a client's Dinan edition 540i and whoa is it Fast!! Comfortable too!! Possibly the most comfortable car I have ever sat/ rode in, hands down. (Sounded awesome too, when that V8 opens up, esp with the nitrous!)

Don't get clears

That car needs nothing, except it could be a tiny bit lower in the front.

It's cool your car looks so good already. All of my new parts are still sitting inside a bunch of boxes in my room. No time to install them.
