body molding fix

the body molding (that plastic strip that goes across the middle of the doors) on my 95 max is starting to peel back. it doesnt stay if i simply put the tabs back into the holes in the doors. anyone know what kind of adhesive would work well to fix it w/out damaging the paint and making sure it doesnt come up again?
thanks

Use JB weld. My molding has a big chip in it and I am about to use JB weld to fill it and folow that up with some paint to make it like new. It's just like hard plastic when it dries. It can be filed, shaped, and sanded. It's much more forgiving that epoxy which seems to end up not hardening or too brittle for me..
