Turd gen in the drain

So it was really bugging me that my car would steer to the right. I always blamed my power steering and rack & pinion. Today I was helping a friend with his car. While he was doing something one manned, I went to look under my car and figure out WTF is really up. The washer attached on my control arm for the long bolt was loose and had LOTS of play. I look at my other side (driver) and thats snug as a bug in a rug. Sooo....

-I basically have NO control arm bushings on my passenger side.
-Rack & Pinion are kaput.
-My clutch has been bad for some time.
-My struts are shot to hell and back, plus my camber is way on the negative side and is just eating the inside of my tire.
-Rust near the sunroof
-VTC's <---- Durr
&
-Normal little stuff (from being 14 years old)
Thats my VE

It took me and my dad like an hour and a half to change my drivers side one.
Do you have a passenger control arm?? I have one that I could sell you for 100.00 bucks.

I threw away 2 sets of control arms....

Mechanics buy them at a discounted price, then mark up the retail, then depending on the mood of the estimator will give you a final price. Wasn't someone on here rebuilding them with new bushings for 50 bucks?

We're pretty dang cheap here in the 3rd gen.

one of the big causes of the bushings going out is oil leaks. The bushings deteriorate from oil. When you have a leaking power steering hose, you can kiss the passenger side front bushing good bye in 6 months.

my passenger-side bushing is gone (i assume) which stinks because i replaced it with one from internetautomart about a year ago but that was before i replaced my ps pump. i guess the fluid has eaten the front bushing up. the car has been jerking to the left at speed and under accel. for awhile. i am going to put in energy suspension bushings and i hope that fixes it since everything other part of my front suspension is new. if it doesn't than i don't know what the problem is.
