Wow. VERY clean. Nice pics too.

Man, your car would be clean if that bumper wasn't destroyed!

They seem big, but I like the look and concept....so it would be a compromise for me.

Look really good. I agree, not use to seeing them but that doesnt mean they dont look good and they do flow very well with the hood.

Fix the bumper and get some clear headlights & corner lights. I love blue with CF.

i personally do not like those latches because of two reasons, 1: they have screws in them, 2: they are not flush with the hood, but the hood looks good other than that.

1: The screws are aesthetic, the latch is double-sided taped on with tape from a body shop. 2: the latch itself is, the surrounding fastener isn't.

Thank you for all the positive feedback, I'm actually in the midst of a 97-99 front end swap because of an accident, and this is how I'm piecing my 95 back together :-)

And for the bumper fix...

Just working on little things before I put it all together like fog light bracket, turn signals, license plate bracket, and if it doesn't fit right I need to replace the upper bumper support bar that runs all the way across just under the grill

They dont replace the orignal latching assembly. You still hve to pop the hood from the inside.

You should think about maybe a gunmetal / polished silver on the rims, the cf hood looks dark and almost black, but in the day its noticeably gray

Very nice, not a big fan of the exposed screws... but it still doesn't look too bad with the hood.

They are fake "aerocatch" hood pins then. Real one have allen wrench screws or tamper proof screws. They don't use double sided tape either they use real screws. If I put a cf hood on I would dish out the $100 bucks to know my hood isn't going to fly up and hit the windshield.

No need to when regular $20 hood pins would work just as well.

Yeah that's true, the regular old hood pins work good for $20 bucks. I just don't like people who buy fake stuff. It makes the real item go up for people that would rather have a quality part.

O.O haha so quick to judge. They're not fake, I can assure you that. I don't remember where i got them, maybe it was more than $30. It's been awhile.

As for the tape, with the location of our front support and the contour of the maxima hood at said location, it seems rather stupid to try and drill ~8 (x2 latches) screws into it no? Unless you... like cracked carbon fiber?

Regardless, with the pin clicked through and all the hood isn't going anywhere

Check out there web site aerocatch.com the installation has you drill SIX holes x2 and doesn't use Phillip head screws. 12 Allen head screws , 12 washers and 12 bolts. I'm just going by whats on there website.

I like these hood latches more than the usual hood pins. The regular ones tend to stand out too much IMO.
