99 Max Gone :(

Well, after 4+ years of enjoyment my 99 Maxima was Totalled by a Drink Driver this month .

This car was so perfect, its really a shame. The Insurance adjuster called me in shock that the agent who apraised it marked it down as "Dealer Condition" aparently on about 1% of all cars they appraise come back with that.

So, here is my new ride which I am picking up this Saturday. I'm excited but I will def miss my baby.

nice G35! Too bad for your maxima. Good condition cars are hard to come by.

Yeah its not easy but Medical Sales has treated me ok and I got a nice deal on this one.

I hear ya about the Automatic! Thats going to be an adjustment for me, I've drivin Sticks for ever. Started with an S10 pickup 5 spd, then an Eagle Talon TSI 5 Spd, then the Maxima 5 Spd... this things got a descent Auto Trans though it seems from the test drive so.

Does anyone know if my 18" Rims from the Max will fit??? I'd love to put them on this G35.

k thanks.

Unfortunaley the other car was taken away by the Insurance Company today. So they have my Short Throw Shift, Red Clear Tails, Eibach Springs......ect ect ect. I did grab my Rims (with brand new tires) and all the Audio/Video Electronics though thank god.

If I can I am going to grab the 20th Anniversary Shift **** I installed when I see the car tomorrow at the Salvage yard.

If anyone is interested I have a lot of OEM Maxima stuff I can sell cheap. For example, Original Shifter (- the ****), Original Tail LIghts (Mint cond.), Original Orange Front Markers (Good Cond). I also have the non-original, never install, brand new REAL leather e-brake boot.

If you are looking for anything else along the lines of "usually replaced" OEM pieces ask becuase I might be forgetting it.

I would rather have that G35 than the 99 Maxima.

In my network marketing meetings, there's quite a few medical sales people. Really helps their businesses. What kinda stuff do you sell?

sucks about your 99. I'm glad it at least appraised well. Good luck on the G!
