MEVI Gasket

I am going to purchase the MEVI from courtesy nissan. I have been doing allot of reading on the intructions so when I do install the VI. However I was wondering. For the VI collector gasket should I prep it with any silicone? or anything of that nature. Should I use Loc-tite on the bolt threads for the collector as well? and for the main gasket that sits in between the lower and upper manifold should I use any adhesive silicon? Any insight will be useful, thanks.

If you have a new OEM rubber gasket that goes between the MEVI and lower manifold, you're good to go. Silicone is not needed anywhere and I advise against it. The only place you should use loctite is on the butterfly valve screws (12 of them), no where else.
