Do Ksports blow very easily?

Whats up with the ksports??? I was pretty close buying them but ive been seeing them for sale with people having them for 8 months or 3000 miles and the fronts are already blown!?

I was def thinking about buying them but when people are selling them at 8months later or 3000 miles later...

now im thinking twice...

IIRC, the percentage of negative reports that were called in to ksport is very slim for all the kits sold for the maxima. people who have blown there coilovers prob didn't install it properly, as in, tightening everything down properly and what not.

mines blew within 4700 miles and i have a 9k spring on the front, so support isnt the issue. And Nissan installed these with a frt:1.5 rear:1.0-1.3 rides stiff, but just not the best product for your money IMOP

umm... i was the FIRST person to purchase ksports on the org when these first came out.. i had one problem with a rear strut after a year of owning them, and not a single problem since(knock on wood) if anything... these should need replacing soon... just like any other coilover..

if you look at jics, they recommend to change the struts out after 2 years.... too bad that costs llike 4 times more than it does with ksports...

first question is......why do you want coilovers?

probably for the customizable drop you can't get with any spring shock combo.

you know, the reason that most people use.

Do yourself a favor, buy some TEIN coilovers. If you can't swing that, then Ground Controls on Koni Yellows.

Stay away from D2 and KSport.

JIC is the way to go, TEIN would be my 2nd choice. I'm rocking JIC FLTA2s. My kit has over 4 years now.

Some people cant afford coilovers for that price.
k-sports are reliable if you take care of them.

enough with the ksport threads. There's already a big ksport thread a bit down the page. Consult it.
