Dan, it's a crap-shoot-->

I think you have to know what your are buying. They don't discriminate between high/low quality. I'd say stick to the name brands that you know of in their catalog. Ie.. suspension tech springs/sway bars.

Their catalog is not very helpful - drawings VS pictures.
Unless you order by brand name, you're in for a suprise most of the time.
I live in CA and S/H they charge is kinda high.

Many times....

but keep in mind you get what you pay for. I've never had to return anything and have generally been pleased with parts and tools ordered by phone from the catalog. I've never use JC Whitneys web site, but it contains better pictures of parts and tools then the paper catalog. Here is an example of fuel injection system pressure tester kits they sell. I bought the one for Bosch systems several years ago and have adapted it to other systems. It works great. http://www.jcwhitney.com/product.jhtml?CATID=5344

I ordered a set of foglights from them once, when I got them I accidently dropped on and broke the lense. I emailed them, and all I had to do was ship my set back to them and they mailed me a new pair. That's a plus in my book.
