I really don't care if its Black or not polished because I live in the desert! I was just wondering if the 5th gen guys/gals are going to get one of these. If I am correct they are like $200 bucks!! www.budgetexhaust.com

I am confused on why y-pipe's are so expensive! I mean an aluminized x-pipe for a stang goes for $200 and it is twice the amount of tubing than a Y-pipe!! I hope budget comes out with their version, because I would hate to have to buy one and pay mostly for the NAME!

is budget exaust a company?

If so we can ask them if they are making a pipe. It is hard to compare mods for our car vs the 'stang because they buy a lot more parts than we will ever buy. That quantity discount thing. But I agree that a pipe (or most mods in general) shoudn't cost hundreds of dollars.

I paid $120 for an H-pipe for my mustang, these high prices for Maxima parts are ridiculous!

I think these people have the right idea! I wish I was in my hometown of Miami, because there was a muffler shop that would do custom work for cheap $$$$.

I think I'd want to hear from a 4th gen person with a pipe from this company before I buy one. I would be down with a cheaper pipe, but there are so many things that could go wrong. I would want to be confident that what I was buying was well designed and tested.
