JWT pop charger + hoses = check engine light. HELP!
Ok, here it goes...
I took my car to the shop last night. Did a bunch of stuff to it, including a JWT pop charger and some red hoses.
(if you're curious, the rest was an FSTB, Carbon-fiber kit, home depot grill, some lights... stuff that will not cause the problem I'm describing)
Shortly after we started the car (10 minutes or so), my engine light came on. I would hate having to remove the pop charger and ALL the hoses and then bring it to the dealer. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this?
I would like to clarify a couple of things:
1. We removed the airbox and replaced it with the pop charger.
2. The front piece (my stock intake) we left in place, together with the 2 sensors on it (are those the temp sensor and the O2 sensor?).
3. We did NOT disconnect the car battery while doing the work (I did not know anything about that at the time).
4. Right now, the car feels a little stronger, sounds MUCH nicer
Overall, there is no evident problem as loss of power, or whatever.
5. Check engine light is still on today.
Help me shut the d@#n light off, please

Should I mess with the sensors?
I just spoke with my mechanic and he mentioned that the O2 sensor may be the culprit. He also said that the car may eventually "adapt" to the new setup and stop giving that check-engine light.
Did I have to do anything with the sensors (unplug / replace / move them somewhere)? I have not touched them, just left them the way they were.

O2 sensors? Those are in the exhaust. You didn't touch those, did you? The sensors I meant were the MAF sensor and temperature sensors that are in the intake path. Just unplug the battery and see if the light goes away. If it does, then things are fine...
