WHIstler RAdar: power cord question

for some reason the power cord does not fit in the radar???

the cylinder side go into the cig lighter and the smaller side go into the radar, but it doesnt fit.>WTF??

are these diff kinds of power cord for cars?

or is my new whistler messed up..

Somebody messed up. Radio Shack sells a universal cord. Go for it.
