Tonight me and Chris91SE decided to head down to e-town and try our luck. I had to redeem myself after a terrible perf at 75-80 during Maxus. Ane once again i was right, there was something about the 75-80 that made me run slow. Anyways, we only got 3 runs in and they booted us out. As far as what i have, its a 99 cali spec GXE AUTO w/ CAI, Y-pipe, 50 shot. And yes i have it on mpeg, just waiting for my cousin to send it to me.

As far as what i ran, here it goes.

r/t-.742 (Im still sleeping)
60'-2.31
330-6.17
1/8-9.32
mph-77.32
1000-12.07
1/4-14.41
mph-96.49

No this wasnt a fluke. I backed this up with another 14.4 run as well. The times are almost identical. Instead the other run was at 14.43@96.64

As far as what Chris did, well he broke his new record too with his VG. I will leave that to him to post about.

BTW-They didnt post the weather conditions on the slip for some reason. It was about 7x degrees and around 50-60% humidity. It was around 80% when we first got there.

The scale is broken or else you had an extra 20+ gallons of gas in your tank. That makes no sense. BTW, nice run.

Nice times buddy, 75-80 was killing me also...
I don't think that I'll hit the track in the next few weeks, wedding is right around the corner. But keep in touch and as soon as I'm able, I'll go with you. If I run the car the way I should (less fuel and letting it cool a bit) I'm sure that I'll run quicker than before.. Once again, congrats...

chris, what mods do you have? cai, y pipe, and 2k max muffler?

you are a vg or ve auto?

you are running almost the same time as me.

i have intake, hi flow cat, removed resonator, hi flow muffler, and advance timing and i ran 16.69 on my vg auto.

i would love to race you but you would probably win seeing how your time is couple mili seconds faster but man it would be a close and fun race.

14.4 @ 96 mph.. pretty good bro.. it must be that Y pipe I sent ya :P lol j/k

Honestly, I think the MPH is a little low. You might want to strap it to a dyno and have it tuned with the NOS because you should be capable of 99-101 mph trap speeds.

well aug. 25th might be for someone that has to drive far like yourself. only problem is those events are usually really packed and it's still pretty hot and humid in the end of august...

night time is the best if you ever wanna make a day trip out of it. the track's open on wed. night and fri. night at 5:30 ish. One time i got 5 runs in and last night we only got 3 because it was so packed...

Phuong-LoL. Maybe it was just teh y-pipe heheh. I have almost hit 97mph before. It was high 70's to low 80s last night. I really dont htink i can run that high of a trap speed. You can help me do the dyno. *hint* tuning *hint*

Jim W-Yes your right. That damn 75-80 track killed me. Just let me know when your ready after your wedding. Again, congrats on that. We shall see if we can pair up and im sure that would be a killer race.

BottleFed-I didnt get much tire spin at all. I got some but not alot. I dont think i even hit the NOS yet during my 60ft. I dont spray till about 3400rpms. I was running 22psi in teh front tires and 35 in teh rear.

Matt-Thanks! Too bad Steve beat me to your pump. Oh well. He needs it more then i do right now.
