Do you guys know who sells gates belts? I've checked my local auto stores and they don't. And no-one knows what size I need when I give them the gates number.

BTW - These are for my UDP!

The numbers for the belt correspond to the length and width. This is the universal system for belts. Unorthodox listed an alternate belt length (powersteering) in the directions if needed. I had to use the longer alternate belt. I have no idea how people could make the smaller size belt work because the alternate was a biotch to get on. BTW, if you don't have a shop manual, DO NOT try and attempt this install. There are a few hidden bolts and Unorthodox doesn't give you any pics. I have the Chilton's manual and it worked great and answered a lot of questions.

Interesting, I never knew that is how belts are numbered. Thanks. I have a Haynes manual, and have read the belts section, along with checking out the whole thing last time I did an oil change.

Lime: Thanks! I never realized that there was one close to me. I'll go there to pick them up!

Well

Just for peoples information in the future...

I went to all my local auto stores (Pep-Boys, etc) and none of them carried Gates Belts.

As Lime suggested I went to FleetPride, this one didn't carry Gates belts.

I ended up ordering them from Courtesy. 2 belts and the oil seal came to a total of just under $40 shipped.
