Uh, that ain't no backyard rice boy car(although it looks like one) That was fully developed and funded by the Ford guys. Plus is has a RACING manual tranny(ie.. impossible to get your hands on one and probably costs more than my 3-gen)
I wouldn't worry about thouse.
I would more worry about the turbo'ed GSRs and Preludes.

I don't think that will ever make it to the production stage, but this will the 2002 SVT Focus with 170hp. Might be some competition for the new SE-R? http://www.canadiandriver.com/previews/02svt_focus.htm
The SVT Focus will def. be competition for the SE-R. When designing, Ford/SVT's targets were the Civic Si and the Integra/RSX which just happens to be the targets Nissan intended for the SE-R. Damn, why is Acura/Honda the target of so many automakers
. For more info, read the MT article all about SVT (talks about the Lightning and Focus)

lately. I don't remember which board I saw it on, but a T/A guy was talking about it and his mind was blown! IMO thats hard to believe, but who knows!?!?
and if thats true the SVT Focus has a lot to catch up to!an this article about the 300+hp Focus proves my point that if a car is ugly as hell, it needs to be BUTT FAST!! cause that thing looks like ****!
I think SVT/Ford are targeting the Focus at the RSX, not the Type-S, its way out of its price range. 14.3 stock is really iffy, don't know if I believe that. I know the RSX-S can probably go under 15 stock but I doubt 14.3.
