im selling my 18" TR MotorSport Typhoons and gonna get some new 18" wheels. Any suggestions or pics to show me? the ones that i like are never 18x8. largest they go to is 18x7.5 ideas and pics please? thanksss

i like the C5's but their expensive and their being played out. Everyone making knockoffs of the C5 style and AV3 style. I like the Work Equip wheels. I like the RH C5000 with gunmetal gray rim and polished lip but only goes to 18x7.5
You interested in my wheels?? cause the guy im selling it to seems kinda flaky so we may be able to work out a deal. Wont be for awhile tho, im gonna take care of my motor first. Later

Hey Matthel, why you selling your rims? I know what you mean, all the rims I like & most importantly, am able to afford, are 18x7.5. However there is one exception. Ever see the ADR RS2000's? They look like the Sebring (Volk Racing) ITC's. I know they come in 18x8.

 

rims.. aw crap.. u care to help me out too?? the racing hart m5's aren't that bad. it's on the importa tuner witht the turbo s2000. the one with kaila yu in it hehehe.

 

go with SSR strusse or decolte haven't seen them on a max but i was considering them before my rims. my friend has volk III's on his 4th gen max and it looks pretty good. work wheels use to look good but haven't been really producing nice one's, they just look like SSR evo and volk III's lately.

 

Any links to SSR wheels. I can't never seem to find them.

SSR Integrals are very plain, but for some reason in 18" I think they're BEAUTIFUL on a gen4 Maxima....

Check OZ wheels as well... F1 Cup's are nice! (see the JWT Turbo Maxima article for pics)

Matthel, I've been thinking of getting new rims too. My AV3 are too heavy, plus they're Out" now.

You ever check out the Yokohama rims (Japanese)
Also, Nismo rims made by Rays (the people behind volk)
Those two are my top list right now for one piece. real light and strong. Trying to find em is a *****! trying to pay for em is even more!!

For two piece wheel, the new RH M5 are real hot right now. Volk also makes a straight 5 spoke like that too.
Or how about Blitz, they've been around awhile, but quality is awesome.
Or may be the 5 zigen 5 spoke? sorta like c5 though.

I like you typhoons. Why selling?

I'm thinking of going to 19" hyperblack Ace Monoco's. They're going to be mostly just for show, and I'm gonna keep my 17"s for autocrossing and winter months. As far as weight, they're 26.74 lbs, not too bad for 19"s.
