They had it in the back only one at the dealer. I drove through to make sure. I will when I have more time drive one and when they have them out front so people can drive them, not behind the service department. It was a White SE. It was UGLY. I can't stand the rear tail lights or front at all. Those rear tails are just purly ugly. If they didn't have that RING around the red, I think they would look better. Wheels, I like mine better . Anyways, I will do another post when I actually drive one.

I just got back from the Nissan dealer too. Reaction there was different. People were drooling over the one 2002 Maxima they had there. I wanted to test drive it, but some guys beat me to it. I'm undecided about the rear lights now. I think it depends on which color you have. It doesn't look good with black, IMHO.

It was the first time I saw the HIDs in the dark. They are sweet!

Nick,

Did the sun rise this morning?

Russ just needs to find the right color. I can literally see two 5th gens and think one doesn't look bad while the other one is butt ugly. Nissan's colors can make two otherwise identical Maxes look completely different.

Of course it's butt-ugly...

but if you owned one wouldn't you be raving about the how much better it is? Besides, looks can be taken care of pretty easily.

Now, when the 5th gen came out did you say it was butt-ugly too? Just trying to see if the story changes.

anyone seen the new altima yet? The new maxima is a one year run, not the same car in 2003. I don't know if that would/should be a concern if thinking of buying one?
