Does anyone know if clear side markers, even when used with red bulbs in the rear and amber upfront, will pass NJ inspection or attract attention from police. Any experiences?

 

I am in northern NJ.. no problems yet. and I got tints all around.. nothing... knock on fake wood trim.
And next im gonna get a shotgun in the trunk.

Did you try passing inspection with tints all around?

 

Every year (every 2 years now :-) ) I have to pay someone to get an inspection sticker...
I've tried many times.. with many cars.. fat chance!

Maybe someday they'll change the laws and let us have tint.
Surprisingly.. I've never had any trouble from the cops about the tint.. odd.

 

Things are getting harder, though. They are going by
the book even if you pay. They are afraid that someone
from DMV could catch them.

DMV is now sending inspectors with cars that for sure
won't pass inspection because of many violations and if
the inspection station pass them, they lose their license
and they get fined.
