I have been axiously awaiting my final decision and purchase of new rollers and I finally got them. I plan to probably change tire brand as I had my heart set on some Falkens but chose Pirellis. Well anyhow, more photos to come and hopefully a better camera...lol!

Yes, I think the style is very near the VR6 style except the blades are not as thick so more rotor shows thru. They fit real well but like I said I plan to switch tires...anyone want some Pirelli P6000 225/50/16? Want the Falken ZE502's but willing to go used for trade if possible.

Looking good!

I am getting new new wheels in the near future and am considering MAK Sonic's (among a few others). I am glad you posted your pics; I had not found any pictures of Maximas with those wheels.

Any reason you went with 16's and not 17's?

Regards,
TOM

Gotta love EBay....it was merely what I found available at a decent cost but did not wish to have as harsh as ride as what I am led to believe from 17's.

WizzaMax, the new rims look really nice! How much did you pay for them?

They go for about 170 each new but I got these lor less than that from a Maxima owner who chose not to mod anymore. I know how it feels, I may be parting with my stuff in a few months when my lease runs out...he he!

Re: MaximaGTR34: As you see in my sig, I already have H&R springs but with the 225/50/16 tires being shorter they show more thru the top. I already got over the gap, I am not wirried about that in the least. I am more interested in getting the other tires, Falken ZE502 215/55/16...that is what I would prefer. No sweat...!

Re: KCTYPHOON: And as far as the ride quality, more rim less rubber, stiffer sidewall, more responsive to road conditions. I don't have to drive too far in this area to notice the difference from stock tires (touring 15) and the new ones (performance 16). No ASE Certification needed, it would only get rougher with 17's when you still have to take the "WIFEY" test.

Most likely you have a better ride setup if you have switched out your struts...mine are stockers.

by better i meant more comfortable.. my friend has a 96 with stock suspension and 17's. i have h&r's kyb, rsb, and 18's, and my car is more comfortable to ride in.. and i live in pot- hole ridden nyc...
