Headlight connector keeps melting

my headlight connector keeps melting.. anyone had this problem before? is my bulb too hot? im using 100/80 watt bulbs.

Yes, your bulbs are over-wattage...there is a post earlier about the upgrade harness at a really fair price...half what APC charges...surely the best insurance against melting connectors....yeah, I have done it twice already...but I love the World Light Diamond Blue 80/100's.

please get yourself the harness and save yourself the trouble. for the amount of money you're spending to fix the stock one over and over you probably have paid for the upgrade already...

yeah definately. it' your bulb.. i took my bulbs of my civic before i bought my max.. and noticed they were melting.. i guess that explain y i got pulled over one time for one of my headlights being out. So i had order my harness. come to think of it still not in yet... i paid 20 for them btw.
