could you post the differences in quality between the 3rd gen and 4thgen? I remember you posting about cost-cutting steps Nissan took when producing the 4th gen. Might make a nice sticky.

Thanks.

I know 3rd gens are better, the 4th gens know 3rd gens are better built, and Kev knows the the 3rd gens own him already.

What more would a write up prove?

3-GENS were built when Nissan was owned by Nissan and actually had money in the bank.

4-gens were built when Nissan didn't have two pennies to rub together

5-gens... Poor attempt at building a car as good as the 3-gen was.

get over it, it's just a flame.

3rd gens ARE better built than 4th gens.

As far as flames go...since when have *you* been afraid of flames? Some Evil Moderator you are...

Maybe you could PM the 3rd gen vs. 4th gen thing to me?

Kev...we all know the truth...so stop the denying it.

I SAID IT!!!!!!

Sure did!! And for those who want me to refresh them about my rattling 99 SE-L, I will. Nissan did indeed invest more time and quality building the 3rd generations. Oh by the way, I'm not a moderator, or evil, or old, or bitter!!

Yup! There are good things about the 4th generations though. Actually many things. But to be precise, there is nothing like that VQ!
