Is it Possible To Make OEM Alarm More Sensitive??
Guys ... is there any way to do this???
Cuz sometimes I park on my Driveway ... and the Neighbourhood kids are ALWAYS Riding their Bikes, Playing Basketball and Fooling around close to where I park.
I want to make it so that if my Car gets HIT by a Basketball or a Kid Falls on it ... I want the Alarm to Go Off so I will know something happened and I can come out of my house!!!!!
Thanx,

I went to a few shops and they do sell add on features for the factory alarm. I just felt it was still not going to be as effective as possibly as an aftermarket alarm. I'm getting a new alarm with remote starter, and a few other features this week, I'll keep you all posted.

The factory alarm is triggered by opening the hood, trunk, or front two doors. I still haven't figured out how the REAR doors are monitored.
Basically, any impact or glass break will not trigger the stock alarm.

A few peopel downloaded the service manual with the schematics but havn't heard about anything yet as far as installation costs.
The unit itself is $50.00 + another 50 for dealer install unless you figure out where it goes. If anyone is good at reading schematic PM me for the link to the service manual.

I posted this before but here you go again.
It is possible to install some sort of sensor and you can set it to pretty much as sensitive as you want. If something hits my car, than my alarm goes off. But my friend got himself another sensor and every time a bus or a car with a load exhoust passes him, it starts to go off. I think we both payed like $20 or something like that. and this guy installed it for both of us. it took hime like 2 minutes and it seems to work perfectly. I don't know what sensor I got or how to install it because I wasn't paying attention. but the sensor is uner the stering wheel on the left.
should have payed attention when he was doing it...sorry
