Running wire thru the firewall

I need to run a thin wire through the firewall and would like it to come out around the pedal area. I looked for an obvious way to do this but couldn't find one. Are there any existing holes I can run it through or do I have to drill a new one? Has anyone done this?
Hmmm...

That sounds kinda complicated. All I did was use the dime sized hole located on the driver side fire wall about a foot or so down from the top, maybe 2 feet over from the side of the car. It has a rubber plug. Pop it out and you're golden. It will end up high above the pedals, just feed it down. Good luck.
Hey man,
Yeah, do what mz said. See how there's a rubber shield cover that goes around that bundle of wires? just take a utility knife and slice a little hole in there, run the wire through, and cover it up with some sealant if you have any.
Here's what I did with 4 AWG wire, it was a lot easier than I thought

it would be easier it you went through the firewall on the driver side. If you locate the fuel filter and move about 3 inches up you'll see a grommet. It's just a rubber piece covering a hole that leads throught the firewall. This is much easier than fender wall cuz there are not screws to remove. Keep on looking for the grommet cuz it's camouflaged. some told me about this on the .org and too me a little bit of staring to find it. pretty much what ptatohed was talking about
