How do u re-aim the headlights

i was curious as how to re- aim my headlights the right head lamp is a whole lot brighter than the left side and i was wondering is there any way i can fix it or do i have to have the dealership do that. thanx

Actually alot of people in the YAHOO Maxima club were complaining about this. The answer is simple:

The right headlamp is brighter than the left so the left doesn't blind oncoming traffic while the right has nothing to blind. I guess the dealer can adjust it for you, I have instructions n aiming the fogs but I think the directions may be different. But it is in fact supposed to be like that.

if u want to re align ur headlights all u need is 10mm socket i think and behind the actual headlight is a white **** just turn it left or right for up and down

i thought it was the left one that is brighter cause the rite one will blind oncoming traffic sents it is closer to the traffic cause he was like left or right and i said right and he was like i thought it was left
oh well thought thanx ill just go get nissan to fix it

I'm picturing the other way, I'm saying the right when ur sitting inside the car should be Brighter than the left when ur SITTING INSIDE
