It came down to the avs sport and the toyo t1-s,(kinda looks like tl-s doesn't it) and after reading many reviews I decided on the toyo's. These are both excellent tires so I dont think there was a bad choice either way. What made me go with the toyos was not because they were cheaper they were more, but the wet weather performance. Kind of an oxymoron "wet-weather performance" Anyways the next thing will be the wheels, all I know at this point is they will be 8 inches wide and a 35-45 offset.

Hey! I'm in TO but am looking for some good = cheap wheel shops across the country ... can u recommend any? I'm looking for the rims that GXE spoiler has ... SSR GT1's ... if I buy from BC .. I'll only pay 7% tax ... whereas if I buy from here ... I'll have 2 pay 15% tax ...

Remember, I dont have wheels yet and I have been eyeing up the 19 inch ssr gt3's. The only thing i dont like is they weigh in at 31 lbs each.

As for shopping in bc we have 14% tax but if you export them to TO do you not pay the pst???

Can u give me the name of the place you are are getting these things from or pricing from?

We have 15% tax in ON but u r correct ... if I buy from BC .. I only pay the 7% GST b/c I am exempt from your provincial tax. The same is for you if you buy from any other province!

Tkx!

19" rims! Holy crap ... u iz going 2 b but @ least you'll look

I noticed you got 245's how come, just looking for that extra cusion??? I guess your speedo is out to the tune of 3.5mm as that would be the extra overall height on your tire.

I got 245 cuz I wanted more lateral stability. But that extra cusion don't hurt...really all the diff is only in how it rolls in...245 has more of a "flat" sidewall where as the 235 sort of rolls right into the tire...if that makes any sence. My speedo is 2mph off under...yours will be off to. I also have any extra half inch in width

ACK!

Why you getting rid of your rims? Selling your car??? I have to meet up with you before you sell. Your car looks sweet. Ever think about getting clear markers for her?

Cisco,
Do you have just a front spoiler on the car and no others? I like that look, and the wheels are awesome. If I had the cash I would have them on my car.

Thanks..

GXE Spolier: Yes, we should meet up. I'm not selling my car at all! I'm actually looking on purchasing another car, possibly a 97/978 528i. I want the Maxima to be my little project car that i will work on. I like the new SSR GT3's, especially with that lip. I'm planning on running 255's in the rear and 235's in the front, if this setup allows.

2000SE: Yes, i only have the front spoiler for now. I'm planning to get the full kit shortly.

Obhioya: Sent you an email. I'll be emailing you more pictures.

I think the best tire for the money is the Continental Sport Contacts which by the way is what I am running. The 235/35 19 is the choice I made as well. There is minimal diff. between the 245 and the 235. So either way you're cool. Sometimes the 235/35 cost more than the 245/35. If you are interested I am selling my 19" MOMO's
