Which aspect of your question qualifies it as Urgent?

No it won't. Not even close. You'd need some major custom work to get this to fit. You have a 1999, with an engine compartment designed for a n/a VQ-series engine. This is a boosted VG-series. There are so many issues with this it's not even worth going over them.
I've been over this with my mechanic.
I now have the chance to get one of these engines at a great price. What else will I need to get this done right?
This thread is not urgent, or even remotely correct.
If you were driving a 4cyl. Accord, I'd understand your obsession for a new engine. But you have a Maxima, buddy. Now although it's been govern'ed and refined speed-wise since the fastest year of 1995
, it's still the same engine.
Think about it. 3.0L, 24V Dual CAM, fuel enjected DOHC V-6 3000 Aluminum block NISSAN with 190 horses, for a car that weighs 2900-3200. Rated best V-6 seven years in a row.
Dude, you've already got the fastest car in it's class. Why in the world would you go through all the trouble of putting a 300ZX motor in, that's older and won't fit.
Most people would love to have a quality built engine like the Maxima's. I think you are taking your's for granted.
Just my advice.
