Humming noise around fuel tank, one step closer to pinpointing
I was underneath my car today and that humming noise people are talking about that seems to come from around the fuel filler... well it doesnt. I've pinpointed the noise to the area where there is alot of hoses that is opposite where the muffler is on the left side of the car. You can make the thing hum by pressing on the gas tank itself while under the car. There is probably some sort of breather valve that is tied in conjunction with the fuel tank that is creating this noise. If anybody can shed more light on this I'd love to loose this noise.
