Hi everyone. I just got back from my trip when an interesting offer came my way. I currently have a 96 Max SE, with all GLE features, longs story, and it has over 99,000 miles. I can get, with no extra money out of pocket, a 2000 Honda EX V6 VTEC accord with 20,000 miles. For Honda the EX is the top of the line and only comes in auto. Damn, I really wanted a stick this time. Anyway, it has 200 stock horses, but torque is down to 195 from Max's 205, which gives our cars its kick. I love the Max and swore I would never rock a Honda, but its too tempting, no more Stillen, no more having to wait for group buys cause its hard to find things, not more boring body kits...uhh I could vent for hours. I drove the car today and it has no ball$ to our cars, but it gets me to 60 just as quick...damn. Everyone is telling me to go for it, I know most of you will say I shouldn't, but honestly, should I? Also, I just installed Cross Drilled Rotors, will they fit the accord? They both have 5 lug pattern. Anyways if I get the car it will be tommorrow morning. If I decide to get it I will be selling these things:

Stillen Intake - Used, 50,000 miles
Stillen FSB - Used, 6,000 miles
Stillen RSB - Used, Scratched, 6,000 miles
Stillen Y-Pipe - New in Box
Random Tech. Cat - New in Box
Altezza's - New in Box with ALL bulbs Some are LED Bulbs
Stillen SMX Grill - Painted Black, NEW

I will let eveyone know if I buy the car and I will take the best offer for these parts. The car itself will also be for sale in the NJ area.

Thanks for your advice and your help.

Erik

I say get the Accord, sell it and by a newer max, it makes perfect sense. BTW I destroyed a accord in a race last week, I took him by 4 cars from about 0-80MPH .

BTW there is a slim chance I am trading my 95 max which is fully loaded with 5spd and 99,600 miles{just like yours} for a 97 BMW M3 with 17K miles . The only catch is it needs a little body work and a front bumper cover. 2 Grand and I am all set.

I still have to look at it and figure out exactly whats wrong with it and all and see how bad they will shaft me on a trade in. So far I have found all the parts that I know need replacement, it totals $679 and the labor is free . We will see what happens tomarrow! BTW paint will cost a good $700ish too. Not a bad deal though!

Kept the Max

Hey. I am keeping the Max. I realized that I could crush the accord, and its soo cheesy inside...I just couldn't do it. I am on the prowl for a Toyota Supra Turbo or an RX-7 (Both last generation made). I think they would be a good replacement even though they aren't "family" cars.

Thanks everyone,
Erik
