I finally sold some parts from my previous car, so now I have the $$ to buy some springs! I have looked around I really can't find H&R's, and if I do they are like $250. Please let me know your suggestions so I can get rid of my 4x4 look!

i think shox.com quoted me 239 shipped or something, with the .org discount, or supposed discount.

but i searched this forum for threads on the hr's and i found this thread. hr's going for 206 shipped. check it out, haven't tried it myself so i don't know if it'll work for sure or not, but i 'll try it out when i decide to jump in for the springs.

post some pics after you get yours done, so i can see how they look on your car, my car looks the same. and you have a good camera too.

Don't you have to buy struts with those springs? If so how much do they cost?

what's the deal with the progress springs?? are they rated close to what the stock shocks and struts can handle, like the h&r's, (this is only what i've heard about h&r, not sure.)

I would go for the Progress springs too if the ride is indeed similar to H&Rs. They're definitely cheaper and the drop is lower. Someone on the Org has them and posted pics...looks good.

The Progress may be lower by I doubt they are a better than the H&R. I've got the H&R on my car now and they handle the bumps really well on top of the fact the handling is way better. How is the ride quality of the progress match up with the Eibachs and H&R ie. bumps, hard cornering, high speed stability etc..??

what up ppl....check sig for Progress Springs pic...and they have settled a little bit lower since the pic so looks hella tight rite now...esp at night, must say, looks gangsta...the ride quality is comparable to stock when its pretty much smooth, on bumps gets a little bit rougher than stock...i cant really compare to h&r's cuz ive never ridden in a car w/ em, but they are not even close to as stiff as eibachs....the strut issue, ive been talking to JDMAX33 who's had progress springs on for ~5months and he says its still pretty good....i dont have time or money rite now to get new struts so imma run the stock struts until i can get enough of both.....the handling quality has increased a great deal...if i swerved b4 the car would give that boaty feeling of going up and down left/riight, but now its hella solid...cornering, same thing, i used to corner at bout 25-30 and got a lot of screeching and even lose traction, now barely screeching and i got almost full control....high speed stablility is prolly the most improved thing...when i pushed 80 stock around slight turns on freeways i had to use both hands to make sure i didnt slip and stuff, now, 1 hand.......i love em and depending on where u live, for 130+s&h u can TOO...i havent talked to ToyLet902 in a while but i believe he was gonna get em...he was thinkn bout going overnight shipping, 175, cuz he lives in NY, but regular shipping will run bout 15-20...questions? pm me....payce
