I opened one side tonight because I was curious and used one bulb for a comparision with my other Xtreme Whites. If you plan on purchasing these, I can label which one was used. I only turned them on once, so I would think that it still has a couple monthf of life in them.
I will tell you the whole story. I purchased a pair of PIAA XTREME WHITE H4 bulbs for $80. After installing them and seeing that there was no hint of blue or white when looking in front, I decided to call up PIAA to see if I can get another set of bulbs because I was dissatified with the performance of the bulb. I describe to them what happened after I installed the bulbs and they say that it was not normal. They sent me another pair, the pair of which I am selling. After I received them, I used one bulb, as I mentioned earlier, for a comparision test. It turns out that none of the bulbs are defected and they do have a white/blue tint, but it has to be dark outside and you have to be at a distance to notice them. I am selling them because I have no use for the replacements I got from PIAA since I will be trading in my car for either an Altima 3.5 SE V6 or the a new Maxima GLE.
What your buying from me is a set of PIAA XTREME WHITE H4 bulbs for $35 including S and H. One bulb has been used, but only once, and the other bulb is spanking new and never been touched. If you want cheaper ones, I can sell you the ones I've been using for 2 months for only $15 including S and H. We will talk method of payment in IM if you want to purchase it.
I am willing to trade bulbs if you have a set that intrigues me. We just pay for our own S and H to ship them.
