Is there a site which tells us what tire size to get for upgraded rims?
I know there's the miata.net site
but is there a dummies site that simply churns out what tire size you need if you provide:
1. Stock specs; and
2. Upgraded rim size?
Tkx!
Btw ... going from 225-50-17 (17 x 7) 5th gen rim
to 18 x 8.5 ...
tkx!

I think http://www.tirerack.com gives you a suggested tire size when you go to that interactive rim/tire selection page.

www.washington tire.com has one I dont know if it will help you though. Go choose a rim and then click to see the recommended tire sizes
You can try www.whalentire.com or http://goodroads.net
