Is it me, or does the turning radius in the 2k suck?! I can't even make a 'U' turn if it's a tight intersection without looking like a trucker and taking two lanes up to do it.

I've heard discussion before that the steering stops are adjustable, as long as you don't move them enough for the wheels to rub anything. This true? Any ideas? Or is it just me? Of all the cars I've driven, this is the worst turning radius thus far! Otherwise, I still love my Max!

No, turning the beast is like turning the Queen Mary. I have learnt my lesson far to many times and now when I do it I prepare properly. Start as far right as I can and take it deep into the intersection. When it rains the oh so wonderfull RE92s and the parking brake make for some tighter cornering.

Nope...it's the Max. The turning radius is the worst that I've ever driven in since I drove a Dodge Avenger. Oh well, just get used to it and make your turns accordingly.

Yep - the guys are right. Unfortunately it's not just you. For some reason the Max is designed this way ;(( Just be prepared every time that you need to make a U turn.

BTW - anybody knows, have they made it better in 2k2?

Turning radius is fine for GXE and GLE

The SE with 17" wheels is 40 feet, above average.

The SE with 16" wheels, is 35 feet (SE, GLE and GXE with 16's ). (slighty smaller than Camry-36 feet and Accord-36 feet)

No problem for me!

So you have a 5 foot shorter turning radius! Let's see... expensive replacement tires and wide turning radius, why do you want the 17's again?

I have the 17" AE rims and the turning radius Blows big time. That is the only feature I don't like on my car.

It's embarrassing when you actually have to do a 3-point turn at an intersection.

Glad to see I'm not the only one with a complaint! I wish I had 16's now. . . (Heheheh, NOT!)

o yea it is. heres a scenario, your getting ready to race, and you want to u turn on a yellow, and the guy is gettin ready to take off (because he made the u already) and here you are in his rear view mirror reversing while hes doing a 1/4mile blast of dust in your windshield...
