Neon R/T...wtf...kill??

I line up next to a Neon R/T at a light and see that its a young guy pimpin with the windows down. I give a little rev so the ghetto-charger will get his attention. He looks over and revs back, I can hear he has an intake too. I say "wanna run?" He says "sure." Light changes we both nail it, I am sooo far ahead of him by the time I shift to second. We catch the next light and I say "What happened?" He says "I guess you got too much for me."

I thought his car would at least keep up a little. I think he just decided he was too cool to race and let off.

wtf???
