do your hids move at all without the 02 clips? i'm assuming they won't fall off the car, but i'd hate for them to get damaged from rattling/shaking.

ok, never mind. i just read ice's reply to ohboiya.
is it feasible to support the assembly a little with some high density foam underneath? it should absorb some of the shaking right?

Hell no, that clip on hold it for the bottom of the assembly. It wont move believe me, unless you push hard at the bottom;
