Went to wheels Direct in Toronto & started talking about rims with some guy Joey.

I'm still looking for an SSR dealer .. his pricing was ridiculous btw .. he wanted $900 + taxes for each wheel .. (Canadian) while I can get it from Tirerack for about $625 Canadian ...

N e ways ... he had these jouggermeister? rims ... crazy crazy ... 18" rims that were superlite ... fully forged steel ... spoon rims? again ... some more crazy lite crap!

Have u heard of these? Man ... me likes ...

he didn't like the SSR ... said they were too expensive for semi-forged ... yeah ... his pricing was

Sounds like you and me are still looking for rim eh? Seems like I change my mind on rims every week. I got the tires sitting here at my house waiting for rims. My newest wheels of the week is the d power d-06. Its a japanese lightweight wheel in 19 inch applications. Price is 750 u.s. each (ouch)

They dont look that good for $750. As a matter of fact, they dont look that exotic to me. Just a simple design, now Concept Neeper and Giovanni are exotic rims.

Cheap quality? Where you get that from? Is that why 18" Neepers sells for like $500 a wheel? Same with Giovanni?

Plus I said they were EXOTIC wheels, not HIGH QUALITY wheels. And I still believe they are of highest quality wheels. My friend owns a shop in UTAH and they are the top of the line.

ok fine ... they may be exotic .. but they ain't high quality ... they're heavy & they flake in bad weather ... if Utah .. then u may be ok .. but I've heard that they'll peel ..

for that money .. I'd rather get a semi-forged or full-forged wheel ..

$750 for one rim? That's crazy! Don't you think that kind of money is better spent on...NOS? I can understand it if you are going for all out SHOW and have a deep pocket.

That is a crazy amount for a rim ... but some people have the money ... do u think a liteweight rim is a show mod? I would have considered it more of a perf mod ...
