Has been discussed before. I will wait until someone quote's Daniel B. Martin or he responds himself. I think he had a really great quote

Basically the thing is B.S. Although some people have reported positive results

I think this will answer your qestion.

Goto the 5th gen forum and lookup the stick FAQ posted by the moderator and you will se a question about the tornadoe intake.

Personally, I wouldn't be puttting things in my intake that might restrict it.

The Tornado mini-supercharger is not fake. It is a genuine scam.

One of the car mags tested it. .

I don't rememeber which one, but they tested it on a long term BMW 540i 6 speed. They did 2 dynoes before the tornado, and 2 after. It did nothing.

It was Car & Driver. I read that article. I feel bad for people who have bought/will buy this thing.

ditto.....

but i do have some stupid friends that swear up and down that it works, but they don't know anything about cars or performance.
they haven't come up with anything that proves any gains from having it.

I'm waiting for the day when Fed Trade Commission
steps in and does something similar to Slick 50.

Alot of times these things are jsut in peoples heads and thats how it gets spread around. Not usually very acurate or whatever but they will change there driving style such as accelerating more to test and things like that giving the illusion they are going faster. All in all it is psychological or a scam.
