ive got 20% i wish i had gotten 15%.

make sure they..

1. tint all the way up to the edge of your side windows.
2. do 1 piece rear
3. ask if there is a life time guarantee
4. if possible ask if they have a car they've done so you can see there work.

prices range from 150-250

Two words for you...Lifetime Warranty! Legal tint in Cali is 35%. Much more lenient in most other states.

My Experience

Be sure to get Madico Brand Tint. Forget Sungard and all the others. Keep in mind that more than bubbling, the tint turning purple is a bigger problem. I went to Sun Shield in Woodland Hills on Van Nuys boulevard. They are real cool, cost me 155 out the door, and they are real quick. In and out in about 40 minutes, cause they have like 4 guys working on your car at once. Nice cool air conditioned waiting room too. I think mine was 20% on the Back (note, always get the back winshield 20% or lower (i.e. 15%)) so that you can get away with lighter tint on the side windows but still maintain a dark look.

I also suggest that you do not change %'s between the rear passenger windows and the driver sides windows, it looks tacky and dumb. The titanium lined tint, is more expensive, but I dont think its worth it. It looks like the factory tint on the RX400 Lexus SUV, it kind of has that slight reflective look to it. Not so good on Maximas.

Anyways, if you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

I can recommend one guy in Philly (Bustleton and Grant ave.) who did a great job on my car for about $180 with lifetime warranty. One year passed - and I have no problem with it.

Don't settle for the cheap crap tint. For the price you listed, you're gonna get crap. Expect bubbles, it will turn purple in a year, and it won't protect against UV or sun-damage to the interior. Go with Formula One or 3M Sungard tint. It'll cost ya $200-300, but it'll be worth it down the road (pun time).

If you live in the DC metro Area, Atlantic Window Tint does it for $99, and uses Madico tint, does the back window in one piece, 5yr warranty, even on theft or vandalism break, tint all the way upto the edge of the window.

Dont listen to anyone that tells you that you HAVE to pay a higher price to get a better job. Anyone who dont believe me, come take a look at my car........ come on down........

they usually just tell you to take it off.... then you will have to go back to the court to show them that you have taking it off...

I heard that Formula One brand tint is suppossed to be good. I have Llumar tint and I like it. Both of these brands carry lifetime warranties, so that's another added plus. I don't know if you can see it in the sig pic, but I have 35%. It's the platinum tint, so its a bit reflective and more private in sunlight versus just black tint.
